Miley Ray Cyrus's real name is Destiny Hope Cyrus. Born on November 23 1993, in Franklin Tennessee the state of Tennessee, she was raised at Thompson's Station Tennessee by Tish Cyrus. Miley has five brothers and sisters, two of whom are older as well as a younger sister. The parents named their daughter Miley with the hopes that she would achieve success. Miley was changed to Smiley as a young girl that she was awarded for being cheerful. Her maternal grandpa was Democratic politician Ron Cyrus. Cyrus started school in Heritage Elementary School. At the age of eight, Cyrus and her family relocated into Toronto in Canada which is where Billy Ray, Cyrus's father played the role of Doc (2001) in TV. Cyrus decided to get into acting around this date. Her father played her in the film, Doc (2001), in the beginning of this movie. Her first appearance was as her dad in Doc (2001). Cyrus appeared as a character in Hannah Montana (2006) (a Disney show that follows a teenager girl who leads a double-life singing) in the role of Hannah Montana, who is the protagonist. The actress was joined by her father again. This was an instant hit and tours sold out as well as hit record and merchandise deals were also in the pipeline. Cyrus quickly became a star in the eyes of teenagers. Following the popularity in Hannah Montana 2006, Cyrus moved into other roles. Cyrus played Ronnie Miller and Lola alongside Demi Moore in The Last Song 2010 and LOL 2012.
